Masks


Get smooth, glowing skin by using the natural home remedy of eggs. There are two different ways to use egg as a mask. An egg white mask is perfect for oily skin as it cleans oil out of the pores. Whip together two or three egg whites in a bowl. Apply it to your face using a brush. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off with warm water. For people with dry or normal skin, make an egg yolk mask for moisturized skin. Use one egg yolk, four drops of lemon juice and one tbsp. of olive oil. Apply it using a brush. Leave the egg yolk mask on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.


Puffy Eyes


Soothe puffy eyes by making your own eye gel using natural ingredients. Use this eye gel in the morning after waking up. Cut up one-quarter of a large cucumber into cubes. Put them in a blender and strain into a glass jar with a lid. Put two oz. of aloe Vera gel into a bowl. Add one tbsp. of cucumber juice and blend them together. Put it in the bottle. Store the concoction in the refrigerator. Apply it under each eye in the morning. This natural remedy will last three months if kept in the refrigerator.


Vitamin C Serum


Vitamin C serum is one of the most effective products for your skin. It imparts a glow that is difficult to attain from other products. The serums are expensive to buy in a department store. Make your own vitamin C serum at home. The ingredients are available at most health food or drugstores. Put one tsp. of distilled water in a glass bowl. Dissolve one-quarter tsp. of L-Ascorbic Acid into the water. Add one tsp. of glycerin. and mix them together. Pour the mixture into a glass container with a lid. The homemade vitamin C serum will last for one month as long as it's kept in the refrigerator. Use the serum every morning under moisturizer.


Exfoliating Scrub


Make a homemade gentle exfoliating scrub for your face using natural ingredients. It's crucial to exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells. Commercial face scrubs tend to be loaded with harsh ingredients. To make the scrub, mix one-half cup of powdered milk, one cup ground oatmeal and two tsp. cornmeal in a bowl. Transfer to a plastic container with a lid. When you use this scrub, mix one tbsp. of the scrub with just enough water to make a paste. Apply it to your face and gently massage the scrub into the skin. Wash it off with a washcloth and warm water.
