Heat Cooked Turkey Legs In Oven

Follow USDA storing and reheating recommendations to keep turkey drumsticks bacteria-free.

There's almost always at least a few people at Thanksgiving dinner fighting over who's going to get the turkey legs. If you happen to have leftover turkey legs or if you picked up some cooked turkey legs from a restaurant or the supermarket, you can quickly enjoy them after reheating them in the oven. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends making sure that any parts of the turkey that you are reheating were refrigerated within two hours of being prepared or purchased. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325 F.

2. Place the turkey legs on a baking sheet or in an oven-safe baking dish.

3. Position the baking sheet or dish on the middle rack in the heated oven. Allow the turkey legs to reheat until the internal temperature reads 165 F or higher using a meat thermometer. Serve immediately.
