Instructions
Hair and Skin Care
1. Gently rub in a thin layer of petroleum jelly all over your hands and feet to soften them. For extra softening, apply a thicker layer of petroleum jelly at night to your hands and feet, and wear old gloves and socks overnight.
2. Apply petroleum jelly to your eyelids, lash line and under-eye area to remove eye makeup. Use your fingers to apply a thin layer and rub gently onto the areas of your eyes with makeup. Keep your eyes shut tightly to prevent petroleum jelly from getting into them. Rinse with warm water and rub lightly with a washcloth to remove the petroleum jelly and the makeup.
3. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to lips as an inexpensive but effective lip balm.
4. Rub together a couple of drops of olive oil between your palms, then rub your palms in your hair to tame frizzy and rough ends.
5. Apply olive oil to your legs, arms and torso as a moisturizer.
6. Rub olive oil lightly onto your eyelids to remove makeup. Gently rub a washcloth that has been dipped in warm water to rinse the oil off your face.
7. Mix ½ cup of white sugar with 3 Tbsp. baby oil to create your own body scrub. Rub mixture onto your body in the shower and then rinse off.
8. Crush a tablet of aspirin and mix it with a few drops of water to create a paste to apply to your pimples. It will dry them up.
9. Rub hair conditioner under your arms and on your legs instead of using a shaving gel or cream. The hair conditioner lets the razor glide smoothly and the conditioner moisturizes your skin while you shave.
French-Tip Manicure
10. File down any ragged edges on your nails with an emery board or a metal file.
11. Buff the surface of your nails using a small nail buffer to smooth any severe ridges.
