The Difference Between Paula Deen Cookware & Paula Deen Signature Cookware

Cook like a chef with Paula Deen's cookware sets.

Paula Deen Traditional Porcelain Cookware and Signature Porcelain Cookware sets are very similar. Although they may seem like the same product, subtle differences set them apart. Before you decide which set you'd like to use or purchase, get to know them inside and out. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Material and Features

The Traditional and Signature Cookware sets are both made of aluminum with a nonstick interior. However, the Traditional collection offers copper-plated knobs on the lids while the Signature collection has silver-accented ones. The Traditional collection also offers a straight-sided profile whereas the Signature collection has a rounded profile for design. The Signature collection comes with dual-riveted rubberized handles and can be used in the oven up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The Traditional collection comes with dual-riveted silicone handles and can be used in the oven up to 400 degrees.

What You Get

One key difference between the two cookware sets is what you get with each. Both come with a 1-quart covered sauce pan, 2-quart covered sauce pan, 6-quart covered stockpot and an 8-inch skillet. The Traditional Cookware set also comes with a 3-quart covered saute pan and a 9.5-inch skillet. The Signature Cookware set comes with a slightly smaller saute pan, 2.75 quarts, but it comes with a larger, 10-inch skillet as well as a slotted turner and slotted spoon.

Colors

Another noticeable difference between the two collections is available colors. The Traditional collection comes in purple, black and oatmeal. The Signature set comes in a larger variety of colors: orange, butter, charcoal, red and robin's egg blue. The Signature collection also features a touch of traditional decoration with a speckled exterior.
