Turkey breasts are healthy and tasty.
Turkey breasts are much bigger than chicken breasts but have the same general cooking rules. If you want the turkey breast to come out tender and juicy, the best method of cooking would be to slow roast the breast in the oven. If you provide the turkey with some moisture in the form of butter or cooking oil and dust it with your preferred spices and herbs, you can tent it with foil to trap the steam and further incorporate the flavors throughout the meat. Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Pat the turkey breasts with paper towels.
2. Set the turkey breasts into a baking pan. Make sure that there is space on each side of the breast and that they are not pressing up against each other or the sides of the pan.
3. Sprinkle salt, pepper and any other spice you'd like to use over the turkey breasts. Massage the spices into the turkey breasts with your hands.
4. Pour a stick of melted butter over the turkey breast, making sure to coat it. Allow the butter to run over the breasts and settle into the bottom of the ban. Pour half of a can of chicken broth into the pan.
5. Lay any fresh or dried herbs that you'd like to use on top of the breasts. Tent the baking pan with foil.
6. Put the pan into the oven and allow the turkey to roast for 20 minutes per pound. For the 20 minutes, remove the foil tent to allow the outside of the turkey to reach a perfect golden brown.
